• QMS: Quality Management System – a set of interrelated policies, processes, and documented procedures to ensure quality objectives are met.
• RMP: Reference Material Producer – an organization that produces materials of known properties for calibration, validation, and quality control.
• Continual Improvement: Ongoing efforts to enhance performance and quality.
• Corrective Action: Action taken to eliminate the cause of a detected nonconformity.
• Management Review: A formal evaluation by top management of the QMS’s effectiveness and suitability.
